Cradle and Thomas Flynn took Guildhall 3D into the Open University’s virtual-production studios at Milton Keynes — Unreal Engine, green screen, LED volume stages, and 4D volumetric capture — to test the scan as an educational asset, not only an online model.
Professor Fridolin Wild, of the OU’s Institute of Educational Technology, has long recognised the educational power of spatial data. The work continues with Digital Learning Specialist Gerard O’Malley, Head of XR Studios Matthew Moran, and the University’s new virtual-production team.
